Adalyn Grace - 9 Months

I would say this last month has been the quickest yet. Lots has been going on!

Baby girl is 9 months. 18 pounds, 6 ounces. 28 inches long. Tall and thin! Last month I posted that she is close to crawling and about 10 minutes after my blog post she began to crawl. She is ON THE MOVE! Into EVERYTHING! She makes a bee line for the dog bowls/dishes. She likes to open all the cupboards and shut and open any door. She is keeping Mama busy. This has been my favorite age so far. She is so expressive and happy. She now waves, "bye bye." So fun! And if I leave the room she cries...HARD! Baby girl likes to be around her mommy. :) Just last night she pulled herself up into a complete standing position. Soon she will be cruising along the furniture.

Last month we went to Texas so Adalyn could see her Grandma & Grandpa Crouch (Jimmy's mom and step-dad) and her aunty Atira (Jimmy's sister). She was also able to meet her Great Grandpa & Grandma and lots of family. Jimmy really loved that she was able to meet everyone. And she was very popular. Grandma took her to her work to show her off and she was passed around and kissed by many admirers. :)

The week in Texas Adalyn had a lot of firsts. Her first time on a plane, seeing a waterfall, swimming with us in the creek, petting chickens and trying spaghetti. It was so nice to have the family time. It's rare Jimmy and I are both off work with Adalyn for that length of time. A really fun trip! :)

This weekend is Father's Day and me and Jimmy's seven year anniversary. Seems like yesterday we were married. Who knew seven years ago that we would have our beautiful blessing, Adalyn! By FAR the best thing we have ever done is bring her into the world. She has changed our lives 100% for the better. I can't imagine a day without her.
