Easter Baby

This last weekend was a busy one for us. One of my closest friends was married and we had a lot going on. Friday was the rehearsal dinner, Saturday was the wedding and Sunday was Easter.

So we had to leave Adalyn basically all weekend. It was very hard as it was the first time we left her overnight and the first time we left her with anyone besides my parents. Thankfully she did wonderful and I got many pictures to make the whole process much easier.

My Mom watched Adalyn Friday night and we had my friend Kara's sister babysit Saturday until my parents came back from the wedding to watch her overnight. Adalyn unfortunately was not a great sleeper Saturday evening but I am beyond thankful to have family and friends that I trust watch my little peanut.

Easter Sunday we spent the afternoon at my parents enjoying a great dinner. Adalyn opened her first Easter basket and was very interested in what was inside. It was fun to watch her. She also loves tissue paper (probably more than what's inside the basket). :)

Some updates on Adalyn...she is sitting up on her own now! She is eating oatmeal for lunch at daycare and solids with me at night. We haven't dropped any of her bottle feedings yet. She is 17 lbs 4 ounces as of last week. And she is sick... again with another cold. Eeeek. I guess that's what happens when your baby goes to daycare. She is still in good spirits! Jimmy has been playing a game with her recently where he hides behind the wall and peeks his head over to see her. She LOVES it! I also caught a video of her laughing really hard recently and I just love her giggles. :) I have a feeling she will crawl very soon. She turns 7 months this weekend. Where does the time go? I have a feeling we will have a crawler in the next month. Time to baby proof the house!

Here are some recent pics of baby girl.

Love,
Kristin
